Mohanlal plays drummer in Rock N Roll

Drummer Chandramouli (Mohanlal) violinist Isaac (Mukesh), key board player Henry (Rehman), musician Gunasekharan alias Guna (Manoj K Jayan), tabla specialists Balu, Vishal (Siddique and Harishree Ashokan) - all these people have only one aim and that is cinema. One day Chandramouli goes missing and returns after a long wait.

Some incidents which happen during his presence are the main highlights of Rock N Roll directed and scripted by Renjith.

Lakshmi Rai plays heroine in the film. She plays Daya Sreenivas, a singer in the film. Radhika and Shweta Menon are the other two heroines of the film.

The pooja and recording of the film was held last Monday at Maharani Hotel in Kozhikode. Shaji Kailas, T A Razak, T A Shahid, M Padm Kumar, Ganesh, Vijaya Kumar, Aroma Mohan, etc were present at the function.

Vidya Sagar composes music for the songs penned by Girish Puthencherri. Manoj Pillai handles camera. The film is produced by P M Venugopal under the banner of P N V Associates. The shooting of the film will begin next week in Chennai.
