Not claiming credit for Munnar eviction: VS
Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan today said that he has not claimed any credit for the action in Munnar and if the dailies have carried it, should be free to ask them.
VS said there were some doubts and protests in connection with the special team to Munnar, but that was sorted out later.
Achuthanandan said that Munnar will get a face lift by three months and strong action would be taken against the encroachers.
Addressing a press meet in connection with the first anniversary of the LDF Government, VS said that a waterway would be launched in order to make the easy transportation of goods and the Kollam-Kottappuram path would be made a reality, said VS.
About 200,000 houses would be constructed for the homeless in the state. Facilities in hospitals will be improved.
"On the Smart City deal, the opposition doesn't deserve a reply. New industries would be introduced in the state. Though there are problems in the party, priority would be given to public issues, said VS.
