Boeing raises projection of India's requirement

American aircraft major Boeing has raised its projection for India's airplane requirement, saying the country would need 911 new aircraft worth over $86 billion over the next two decades.

Last year, India's requirement was projected as 856 aircraft at a value of $72 billion, Boeing Senior Vice-President (Sales) Dinesh Keskar said here.

In its latest forecast, Boeing has said that India would need at least 53 more twin-aisle aircraft.
