The land for rehabilitating those displaced from Kadamakkudy village for the road connectivity of the proposed Vallarpadam International Container Transhipment Terminal will be readied and distributed to the beneficiaries within a month, District Collector A P M Mohammed Hanish has said.

Those displaced at Kadamakkudy village would be rehabilitated in the same village. Those who lose up to five cents would be given five cents, while those who lose more than five cents would be given six cents each. Those displaced from Eloor would be rehabilitated at Vazhakala.
