The Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore, has invited applications for an entrance and aptitude test to be held at Mysore and New Delhi on July 20 for admission to the two-year M.Sc. food technology course.

B.Sc. degree holders who have studied chemistry or biochemistry as one of the subjects and with 55 per cent marks in the optional subjects (50 per cent for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes) or those having second-class B.Sc. agriculture, BE or B.Tech. degrees may apply. Applicants should have studied mathematics as one of the subjects in the 12th standard or at the degree course.

Application forms and details can be downloaded from www.cftri.com. The filled applications, along with a demand draft for Rs. 500, should be sent to the Director, CFTRI, Mysore - 570 020. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of the Director, CFTRI , Mysore. The last date for the receipt of applications is June 6.
