Narasimham (also transliterated as Narashimham) is a Malayalam movie released in 2000 that became one of the top grossers in the Malayalam language film history. Narasimham featured Mohanlal in the role of Induchoodan, who goes to prison for a crime which he has not committed. The punch line of the movie po mona, Dinesha was also very popular.

Megastar Mammootty made a cameo appearance in the movie enacting the role of a lawyer.

The film had a total of three songs tuned by M.G Radhakrishnan, of which "Dhaankinakkam" attained a high level of popularity. Narasimham was the highest grosser in malayalam film industry up to that point and is still the biggest hit of Mohanlal's career.
