Kamal, who makes films with youngsters, is back as a writer and director of a new film named Minnaminikootam. The shooting of the film is fast progressing in Kochi. The latest film Minnaminikootam has Naren, Indrajith, Jayasurya, Manikuttan, Anoopchandran, Meera Jasmine, Samvrutha, Radhika, Roma etc.

The story is about friendship and love between a group of youngsters working in an IT park. The life of young techies, their joys, sorrows and anxieties is what the film is about.

Minnaminikootam is about the life of today's laptop generation. The fast life, eroding values, competitive work culture is part of it. The story is told in a humorous manner, and should entertain as well as make you think."

Minnaminikootam has music by Anil Pachuran- Bijibal team. The film is produced by Raakhi Ram and distributed by Mulakupadam Films who made Flash with Mohanlal. The film is is expected to release in July.
