The Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Srirampura, Mysore - 570 008 has invited applications for its entrance test to be held on August 5, 2008 at Mysore, New Delhi and Kolkata for admission to the two-year M.Sc. programme in sericulture technology. This course is recognised by the University of Mysore and will commence from September 2008.

Eligibility

B.Sc. degree with any three of sericulture; zoology; botany; chemistry; biochemistry; microbiology; bioscience; biotechnology; and environmental science as optional or B.Sc. agriculture or sericulture. B.Sc. sericulture graduates will be given preference.

Total number of seats is 20.

Application form

For getting the application by post, send a request along with a crossed demand draft (DD) for Rs.100 in favour of The Director, Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute, Mysore -570 008 accompanied by a self-addressed envelope (size 25 X 19 cm). Stamps for Rs.30 should be affixed.

Completed applications should be sent along with a DD for Rs.150 to the Director so as to reach the institute on or before July 26, 2008.
