Thandavam - Mohanlal, Bhavani Malayalam Movie
Mohanlal plays Kasinath a political activist in Shaji Kailas's Thandavam. With his track record of brilliant performances, another well handled character portrayal by Mohanlal. The movie is about Kasinath's brother Swamynathana [played by Nedumudi Venu] an agriculturist who practices unconventional methods of cultivation.
After years of trials & errors he finally yields a bumper crop; but his victory is not shared by many as most of the villagers commit suicide due to poverty. The story plot revolves around the dependence of agriculture and politics.
