Centralised Online Allotments for AIEEE Seats
The Allotments to Participating Institutions, based on the merit in the AIEEE 2009, will be done ‘Online’, in a Centralized manner, this year. As per the tentative schedule announced by the Central Counselling Board, the Registration, filling up of choices for institutions and courses and Indicative allotment (Mock Counselling) will be carried out between June 20 and June 24, 2009.
Filling up the choices for the actual allotment can be undertaken from June 25 to June 28, 2009. The choices will be locked at 11.55 pm on June 28, 2009.
First round of seat allotment of seats to Participating Institutions based on the choices registered by candidates will be announced on June 30, 2009.
Candidates will have to Report at Admission centers against the first round of allotment between July 1 and July 5, 2009. Second round of seat allotment will be published on July 7, 2009 with reporting period at Admission centers against the allotment between July 08 and July 12, 2009.
Third round of seat allotment will be announced on July 13, 2009 and the reporting time to admission centres based on it would be from July 14 to 18, 2009.
Fourth round of seat allotment will be published on July 19, 2009 and those allotted based on it should report at the admission centres between July 20 and July24, 2009.
The following are the steps to be followed by the candidate for online choice filling and locking which has to be undertaken between June 20 and June 28. The eligible candidates can exercise their choices from anywhere over the Internet.
(i) Candidate has to first log on to the website www.ccb.nic.in and Register as a new candidate by using the details given on the Admit Card of the candidate. The candidate has to verify his/her credentials such as category, subcategory, gender, state of eligibility and address for communication etc. If there is any discrepancy, the candidate will be allowed to change the data, once.
(ii) The candidates should then fill choices of seats ‘on-line’ to indicate the choices of institutions with branches in order of their preference.
(iii) There will be indicative allotment (Mock Counselling) to make the candidates aware of the possibility of getting a seat as per his/her rank ans choices filled. Candidates, if they so desire, may change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their choices on or before the last date/time for locking.
(iv) Final locking of choices by candidates has to be done latest by 11.55 pm on June 28th, 2009. Candidate has to take a print-out of this locked choice which may be preserved for further reference. After final locking of choices, candidates will not be able to change their options under any circumstances. The list of choices at the time of locking will be used throughout the admission process for allotments. After locking the choices, if a candidate logs in again, then the choices given by the candidate will be displayed. If the candidate fails to lock his/her choices before the due date/time, he/she will forfeit his/her right to claim admission and will not be considered for seat allotment.
Arrangements will be made at designated Admission centres for guidance. Candidates may seek guidance and also carry out their registration and choice filling at these admission centres, if they desire so. The list of identified admission centres is given below.

All the seats available in Participating Institutions offered through CCB, (A tentative list of Participating Institutions is given as Table 3 in the ‘Information Leaflet’ available at http://aieee.nic.in/ccb2009/ccbleaflet_2009.pdf) will be allotted during the first round of seat allotment. The choices submitted by the candidate will be processed centrally and the first round of provisional allotment of seats will be displayed on the internet on 30th June 2009.
For admission, the allotted candidates are to report to any Admission Center during the period specified for remote reporting, failing which their allotment will be cancelled. The seats thus falling vacant in a round will be considered for allotment in the subsequent rounds of allotment.
Candidates who take admission against the first round of seat allotment and wish to be considered for the vacant seats in the next rounds for getting higher preferred choices will be required to give their willingness at the time of reporting at the Admission centers.
After the first round of seat allotment, second and subsequent rounds of seat allotment will be made for the vacant seats. Only those registered candidates who had neither been allotted seats nor withdrawn and has given willingness for subsequent round will be considered for the allotments in subsequent rounds.
If the candidate fails to satisfy the qualifications prescribed, the provisional allotment of seat will automatically stand cancelled.
Documents like Admit card, Score card, 10th class or equivalent certificate, 10 + 2 or equivalent certificate, category and subcategory certificates will be verified at the time of admission. Transfer certificate, two sets of Xerox copies of the certificates and four passport size photographs should be submitted. An initial fee deposit of Rs. 25,000/- will be collected at the fee counters for admission. The deposit is to be made through a demand draft in favour of ‘Chairman, C C B – 2009’, payable at Warangal. Candidates have to collect the fee receipt cum admission letter to submit at the allotted institute. Seats will be allotted against reserved categories as per Government of India norms.
