Mammotty plays Madhavan a 16 mm film operator on the move from village to village screening movies at festival grounds. He meets Pawan (Master Yash) a vagabond boy in Kuttanad who was separated from his family during the earthquake in Gujarat. The boy finds himself with street children in Kerala who could not understand or speak his language. Madhavan is touched by his plight and the boy starts sticking around him. Slowly a special bond develops between them in spite of the language barrier.
